South Africa (SA)
* The five match ODI Series is currently tied 1-1 with South Africa's five wicket win in the 2nd ODI match at Durban while Pakistan have won the Ist ODI of this Series at Port Elizabeth.
* Rassie Van Der Dussen played a finishing innings of 80* runs and secure the first win for South Africa in this Series. A. Phehlukwayo also scored Unbeaten 69 runs.
* A. Phehlukwayo picked up Four Wickets While T. Shamsi and K. Rabada picked 03 and 02 wickets respectively.
* South Africa have called up left arm fast bowler Beuran Hendricks for the next 03 ODI matches of this series. He is joined by the pair of Dale Steyn and Quinton de Kock, who return to the squad after being rested for the first two matches.
* Duanne Olivier, Dane Patterson and Heinrich Klassen are the three Players to drop out from the squad of 14 players.
* Dale Steyn and Quinton de Kock will derectly come into the final XI in place of D. Olivier and H. Klassen. While, B. Hendricks is expected to come into the XI in place of D. Pretorius.
* Reeza Hendricks performed average in the last both ODI. Hence, He may be replaced by Aiden Markram in the final XI.
* Hashim Amla will open the batting along side Quinton de Kock. This Opening pair is the most successful pair in the World and will hope to deal with a long handy innings in the third ODI.
* Rassie Van Dussen, Faf du Plessis, David Miller and A. Phelukwayo will take the charge of middle order. All round performance of A.Phelukwayo in the last ODI Secured a historical win over Pakistan and He will hope to replicate it once again. David Miller will be in the role of finisher. He was in tremendous touch in the last ODI series against New Zealand. He could be dangerous for the Pakistan especially in the death Over.
* The in-form batsman Rassie Van der Dussen, who scored 93 off 101 balls in the Ist ODI and 80 runs off 123 balls in the 2nd ODI, will also hope to play a big role once again.
* Dale Steyn and Kagiso Rabada will lead the bowling side with A. Phelukwayo and may be B. Hendricks.
* Hashim Amla's last four scores in International ODI are 08, 108*, 41 and 71 runs. He is the pivot around which the South Africa batting line up operates.

Pakistan (PAK)
* Pakistan lost the second ODI of this 5-match Series against South Africa by five Wickets.
* Hasan Ali played a brilliant Innings of 59 runs while, Skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed scored 41 runs.
* Shaheen Afridi and Shadab Khan picked up 03 and 02 wickets respectively.
* Pakistan's batting order especially top batting order was totally collapsed in the last ODI. Pakistan could be included Shan Masood, who was the leading run scorer in recently played Test series, in the final XI to provide strength in their batting line-up.
* Fakhar Zaman and Imam-ul-Haq will open the batting order. Fakhar Zaman's poor form is really a serious cause for Pakistan while Imam-Ul-Haq played a handy knock in the first ODI but couldn't keep his momentum in the second ODI.
* The duo veteran all rounders, Shoib Malik and Mohammad Hafeez will lead the middle order with their experience. Hafeez's finishing innings in the first ODI secured a series lead win in the Ist ODI but he failed to perform in the Second ODI. While, Shoib Malik has been struggled with his bad form in both matches.
* Pakistan's bowlers would have been happy to keep South Africa to a low score in the Ist ODI, but will hope for more end-product in the upcoming matches.
* The brilliant Spell of Shaheen Afridi crushed the top order of South Africa in the last ODI at Durban. He will hope to replicate it once again. Hasan Ali's brillinat half Century in the last match secured Pakistan to put 200 plus runs on the board. But, Hasan Ali was wicketless in the last match and he will hope to take few wickets in the third ODI. Shadab Khan will be the Only spinner in the Pakistan's XI. He has made much impact in the previous both matches and will hope to keep his momentum in the rest three matches of this series.
* Babar Azam has been in impressive form on this tour. He scored two half Centuries in the test series before a useful innings of 49 runs off 69 balls in the first ODI. But, he has failed to perform in the Second ODI and Scored only 12 runs.
* Skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed is not sure to play the third ODI due his controversial Comment on A. Phehlukwayo during the Second ODI. You may Pick him at your Own risk.
